An 8.4oz Red Bull contains 80mg of caffeine. A 16oz can of Spiritual Honey, Sweet Tea contains 80mg of caffeine. If caffeine is the only thing you're measuring, these are the same drink.
Caffeine is rarely the only thing that matters.

The number that actually differs: 27 grams
The American Heart Association recommends a daily added-sugar ceiling of about 25g for women and 36g for men. A single 8.4oz Red Bull is 27g — at or over the entire day's allowance in under nine ounces of liquid.
Spiritual has zero grams of added refined sugar. It is sweetened with 22g of raw wildflower honey, which is still sugar and still carries calories. We're not going to pretend otherwise. What honey isn't is refined cane sugar or corn syrup, and it doesn't behave the same way on the palate or in the can.
Honest caveat: honey is sugar. If you are counting total sugar grams, 22g of honey is 22g of sugar. The difference is in what it is, not in whether it counts.
Same dose, different curve
Where these two genuinely part ways is pace. 80mg in 8.4 ounces gets consumed fast — a small can goes down in a few minutes, so the caffeine lands in a tight window. 80mg in 16 ounces is a drink you work through over a longer stretch. Same total, spread wider.
There's a second variable people underrate: what the caffeine travels with. In Red Bull it arrives with 27g of fast sugar, which produces its own rise and fall independent of the caffeine. Pull the refined sugar out and a lot of what people describe as "the crash" goes with it.
We are not going to claim a mechanism we haven't tested in a lab. What we will say is the design intent: 80mg from cold-brewed black tea, in a can big enough to last, without a sugar spike layered underneath it.
Which should you reach for
If you want the maximum caffeine in the smallest possible package, Red Bull is engineered for that and does it well. 9.5mg per ounce is a genuinely efficient delivery vehicle.
If you want something you can drink across a shift — 16 ounces that actually hydrates, the same caffeine load, and no refined sugar underneath it — that's the thing we built. Go to war. Stay hydrated.
